This song is showinghis sensitive side. I especially like the part where he says his momma has him in training gettin ready for the day when he makes somebody happy. Whoever that person maybe, she will be very lucky and I just pray that she does not take him for granted. |

This song is very touching and I can more than relate to it. Chris breezy, my lover sang this song for his father who abandoned him, his mom and his younger brothers. Now that he could talk about it, he spoke to his father in song, case as we know that is how he relates his feelings best through song!! I got comfort from this song the first time I heard it, and I still do today. My daddy left me, my mom and my older brother and like Chris I was hurting. That is why I guess I LOVE CHRIS so much. The meaning of song to me is that, he recognizes his weakness and is truly sorry for what he did to the love of his life. He is pouring his heart out to her, in hope that maybe she would forgive him. He knows it's over, but everyone wants forgiveness!!! |
