i hated this song at first cuz it's about joe, my love;]
but really its a great song
i love it now.. it makes me cry cuz it's exactly how i feel right now
i so relate to it, which makes taylor's skills even greater than i thought
she's amazing in concert! :D

i agree with 'henrytheman' but i have another idea that may be it. he may have said something to her to break her heart, leading her to commit suicide. that's why "The neighbors said she moved away" and then for this part:: "Waking the neighbors, unfamiliar faces
He pleads, oh he tries
But he's only denied
Now he's dying to get inside"
^^ i think it was a funeral of some sort. he went to apologize and found it to be people he didn't know. he wants to go inside the house to see if she's there.
