Green black and blue make the colours in the sky
A representation of imagery of butterflies in the sky. The sky is not green or black by itself, and the song is almost exclusively about butterflies, so it is a safe assumption to say that butterflies are what "make" those colours in the sky. There isn't anything else in or implied in the song that could "make" the colours in the sky, such as the "samurai" or Japan, so, uh, yeah.
