For one, the romanization of "ne show" is wrong. The hangul is 내 쑈, which is "nae show". "Ne" would be the pronoun that means "your". "Nae" means "my". So, not, "your show, your show, opera." It's "my show, my show, opera." Moving on. This song seems to be Super Junior digging at those who make music for glamour, or those who enjoy music for glamour. And Super Junior says, "Uh-uh! It's not like that here." Not literally, but that's how they come across. They sing: "'Cause it's too good, 'cause it's the answer. 'Cause this is good, 'cause everything feels good" in the chorus break-downs. Now, at first glance, this song appears to be extremely arrogant. They're all like - literally saying: "My show, my show, singing opera, dancing opera, my opera. 'Cause it's so famous, everyone's going crazy. My show, my show, the opera I made, the world's most stylish opera. 'Cause it's so cool, everyone's crying out in tears." Ugh, they sound like jerks. But, if you wait until the bridge, a different side comes out. Kyuhyun sings: "It's not easy, sometimes I lose my breath, and can't even speak. I'm following what your heart desires." Wait! Are they saying that they are simply giving the public what they want, or rather, what they really want and just aren't saying? Ah-Ha! With this idea, the whole "the world's most stylish opera" mess sounds more like they are trying to give something different, especially with the context of the first verse, as sung by Siwon, Kyuhyun, and Leeteuk, "Losing yourself in the difficult latin, latin languages or the dramatic, dramatic stories. Wearing the most expensive clothes, clothes. Wow, trembling a little, you're satisfied as you sit in the theatre's most expensive seats. It's different here." It sounds like they are trying to have music be music, and not some overly decorated, fame-lauding, Hunger-Games-Capitol-esque circus!

So, the Girls' Generation troop are singing a song about a girl who knows this guy who's older than her, hence "Oppa (오빠)". They appear to have been friends for a while, but it's always been like older brother and little sister, "Oppa (오빠)" and "Yeodongsaeng (여동생)". However, a change of events comes. The girl falls in love with the guy! Now, she's all shy and insecure, thinking he won't like her like that. But, she is determined. She doesn't want to simply be his 동생 (dongsaeng: younger sibling), she wants to be his 여자친구 (yeojachingu: girlfriend). So, that's what this is about.

This song has a similar message to the Korean version, only focusing on them, and not other people. It's a self-confidence song. This is most obvious in the chorus parts, "We're born to win, better tell all your friends. 'Cause we get it in." The girls speak on working towards goals - "I'm gonna make history, I'm taking it from the start" - and being their own persons, not what others want them to be - "Can't get the rest of me, I'mma be what I wanna be. This is deep in my heart." Of course, some of the lines appear to be there solely for connection to the original song. Lines like, "You know the girls?" and "Bring the boys out!" are nearly meaningless with the context. The bridge is more "this is who we are, you can't stop us" then, say, the chorus. The lines "We can show 'em how the girls get down!", "we go for more than zero. No. 1, everyone should know!", and, especially "Girls' Generation, we won't stop!" point to this. They're proud of themselves and who they are, and they're not going to let anyone or anything stop them from doing what they love.
