I, JingleNails, have no idea how the writer of the lyrics have come up with this, but it couldn't have been done any better. This line is like both one end and a beginning incarnated. Also this is the key, as the last line of the lyrics puts it, to the paradise. So you NEED TO get lost, to find the paradise.

Any one could interpret this line in their own unique specific way, and that is its absolute beauty, for it could be either the love or the loved one getting too close and then the break up. But the thing that keeps us all united about this is that we all find it absolutely healing for some of our mental pains.

The singer could have been having in mind a specific case probably, like a love that he has lost, but for those who listen and they are being united with the singer here, this could sound familiar in their own specific ways, any kind of love that has been lost. Besides the double-sided meaning of the word "blues", sunshine so artfully has been set in the, obviously a very calm scene, in which its gentle shine is gonna wash away the sadness and the bad memories of my mind.
