Doesn't understand why she stay's with an abusive boyfriend that beats her. She knows that he is abusing her and that what he is doing is wrong but tries to keep it to herself and tries to fix the mistakes and problems that he has created for her when he says "cover up with make-up in the mirror" she is covering up the things that he has done to her and tries to make everything all right when in reality he is hurting her, at the end of the song he emphasis how she has had enough with the behaviour as in which he is treating her.
