The word glowing can be referenced as pregnancy, and when it says "all they have planned" I believe they are saying is that she is having a child and they are discussing with the father what they are going to do, which leads back to the theme of the song that is "Time is too short," because the next line it says, "dad the wedding is six months away and I need to practice my dancing," she is in such a rush, when six months sounds like a long time, and in reality it isn't.

What I am getting from that line is that, time is too short, and once this wonderful guy sweeps you off your feet you wont be "daddies little girl" anymore, and she has become all grown up. And when its says "I don't wanna miss even one song" its saying that, if I miss even one opportunity I will regret it later, and I don't want to have the regret harvested in me.

"And all the roads we had to walk are winding"
The struggle to continue our relationship,or what it is yet to become will be a difficult path.
"And all the lights that lead us there are blinding"
I'd like to think of this as people are being symbolized as lights, and there are going to be times when we are going to be blocked by people and being blinded by the harsh reality of life, but it is okay because we will have each other.

He loved her in many ways, and he admits that. He wanted a pure love with her, and she wanted it with someone else. Stating that "I am the murderer, you will never see his pretty face again!" is like taking a sort of pride to what he has done to that someone else. He is an obsessed, compulsive person and he knows his flaws. He embraces them, just as much as he embraces his love for this girl.

"You're going to get what what what you deserve." This is an element of foreshadowing what is to come, and considering what she was in the whole charade, what is going to happen, in away, is a form of karma.

People may look at this, as if it is a father and son relationship, however it can be explained as any kind of relationship. "Cause we lost it all, nothing lasts forever" It is like when couples fight and divorce(or break up), Even though, in their vows on paper it is said that to love to cherish forever. It is like going against all the stuff on the surface and showing how life, how reality actually is, compared to what it is always portrayed as. "Now it's just too late, and we can't go back" Its like saying that we have already been through so much hell and everything just ended in a terrible outrage and we cant go back to the way it used to be, the "perfection" of the relationship is gone. When he says "I'm sorry I cant be perfect" its as if he also is hinting a sarcastic undertone, like "Oh I'm sorry, that I cant be what you wanted me to be, I am just trying to become myself." It kills him to say that he isn't perfect, but he knows that it's true and no one can change that. Everyone was/is born with imperfections.
