You want to tell me what is the big deal whether or not this song means this or that or not? Its a beautiful song. Music was meant to be interpreted in any way to make the listener feel as good as they want. I'm an Atheist and I can still appreciate good music. For me it meant the companionship I felt with my girlfriend before she died of cancer. Its a beautiful song. No doubt. Take music for how it means to you. Not from what others feel.
