Okay. This is one of the very few songs that I think might be about god, and how he is all-loving, and he's always there for us, blah. But besides the religious veiw, he could just have realized, with someone's help, that the world isn't all that bad. There are good things, and, excuse the cliche, there are moments that you chould hoard and treasure forever, because those moments are the jewels that will make everything alright, at least in your mind.

It's hard being a kid, and everyone who says it isn't needs to think back and take a look at their own childhood; if it was good, they were lucky, if it was bad, well, they don't have a right to say childhood is easy.
Everyone makes a big deal out of peer pressure and bulling, and a lot of people think that it's not quite that big a deal; it's only inflated a little. Those things happen, they're real, and everyone has a breaking point where they can change, or even end their own lives. It's not a good thing, and this song helps show that.
Thanks to everyone who knows what it's like to be a kid and has no illusions.

I think he's in love and wants to share how he feels for his special person. "I am thinking it's a sign that the freckles in our eyes are mirror images and when we kiss they're perfectly aligned" is a good indicator of that. X3.
Brikay- How did you come to the conclusion that the song writer is talking about god? Do you know that he's religious? And why would he sing about his "relationship with god" if he's saying "I have to speculate that God himself could make us into corresponding shapes like puzzle pieces from the clay"? It makes no sense. I'm sorry, but it doesn't.

Um. I think this is about a scam, or scammer. When I listen to it, I can't help seeing some rich guy all dressed up sitting in the corner of some club somewhere as everyone fights or dances around him, being all smug, with a briefcase and people coming up to him all shifty-eyed saying "You got the goods?"
All in all, another awesome song by Fall Out Boy! : D

I think being apathetic is a great state of being. I understand all of you people's veiws, but personally, being apathetic has gotten me out of several tight spots, where I feel like I'll kill someone if I don't cool off. Pretending you don't care helps you let go of all the negative emotions that get in the way of your life. And just because you're not passionate doesn't mean you can't feel emotions.
