This song is short and a little difficult to interpret, I'll admit. This one also appears to be about a Demon. (Just in case you missed them, I've posted interpretations about the previous songs on the album. The rest are soon to come:].) It seems that whatever they are talking about was monitoring them before this song was written; "I crawl along the ceilings in your room./The cold is spinning thread to answer you./I need something made of freewill." Whatever is speaking is evidently very old. The Toltecs were several ancient city-states in the pre-columbian central Mexico area. These people are also known as the Aztecs, if that makes it any easier. Apparently this creature was some sort of God for these people and many sacrifices were made to it; "I bring an avalanche of Toltec bones..."

This song seems to be about contact with one spirit in particular. In saying, "My time is riding in the Alphabet," it is of course referring to the letters on Omar's Ouija board. It is saying that the only way that it can tell them it's story is for them to use this Ouija board. "It falls beneath your palms," also refers to the Ouija board. This part is speaking about the game piece with the lens on it. I'm not entirely sure what Metatron refers to, possibly a Demon or some sort of powerful Spirit. (Theoretically) The spirit speaking in this song could have simply wanted to contact someone to tell their story, or maybe there was more to it than that.

This song is very well written. In the interviews I have seen with this band, they talk about Omar finding a Ouija board. This song appears to be some kind of introduction to the album on which it appears (Bedlam In Goliath). This album tells the story of various spirits that they contacted through this board. Each verse in this song appears to be from the point of view of a different entity. The choruses seem to be all of the entities at once. Cedric did admit to using the board to write some of his lyrics.
