Zero 7 – Speed Dial No. 2 lyrics

I don't need you anymore
I'm okay and I am sure
I don't need you anymore
Yeah I'm ok, I'm reassured

And I don't need you not today
I promise I'll call I promise I'll say
I don't need you not to stay
And if you ever need me I'll reciprocate

Your shoulders in my pocket
Speed dial Nø2
See you when I need you
See you when I do
See you when I do

Do you need me, I am here
Can you ask, can you be clear
Yes you need me, I appear
Now you are me, I am here

Your shoulders in your pocket
Speed dial Nø2
Call it when you need me
See you when I do
See you when I do

Call me when you need me
Just call me when you need me

Call me when you need me
See you when I do

I believe the song is referencing a personal support group relationship between two people. One is the friend of the other that helped her through a tough breakup but then they became lovers. His shoulder is in her pocket and available anytime by accessing speed dial #2. After a while she is over her original personal crisis and moves on perhaps. Now his personal crisis begins. Their rolls are reversed.
When you really listen to the words, I believe she says the second time "my shoulders in your pocket" which of course is reference to you can call me anytime and cry on my shoulder, or more.
Whether his personal crisis is caused by her not needing him anymore is up to you to decide. :)
