I think that this song (written by a Christian artist) is a declaration that no matter what anybody says or does to them, they will not bow or surrender to any other god or idol other than the Holy Trinity -- God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. They will not condemn the ones who persecute them for their faith, but instead will love the people who persecute them with the Love of Christ and take all the suffering for their Lord, who sent His Son to die a shameful death by crucifixion on the Cross for them so that they could go to Heaven. Since Jesus Christ went through a lot more then these guys ever will, how can they think of bowing to someone else other than the Creater of the universe?
