Don't Speak Liar lyrics

We The Kings Don't Speak Liar lyrics

Just sit back
And tell me
I'm a liar for this
Don't roll your eyes
Rewind
This happens
Way too many times

So sit back
And tell me that your
Tired of this
I know
I'll grow up someday
But it's 2am
And I'm too high and dry
And I won't come down soon

So when I come back
I won't say a word
I know
I've said this before
Don't speak, liar

No we won't talk
We won't say a word
I know
You've heard this before
Don't speak, liar

Sit back
And tell me why
I'm so prone to this
Do you think I'm fond of
Getting you and letting you down
And I'll get mine soon

So when I come back
I won't say a word
I know
I've said this before
Don't speak, liar

No we won't talk
We won't say a word
I know
You've heard this before
Don't speak, liar

And if the story ends here
I can't be surprised to find
Your eyes are open wide
And that I have inspired you

And when you come back
Don't say a word
I know
You've said this before
Don't speak, liar

No we won't talk
We won't say a word
I know
We've said this before
Don't speak, liar
Don't speak, liar
Whoa-ohoo
Don't speak, liar

Through all of the mess that was made, he still got to inspire someone, maybe not to lie.

I think he's cheating on her, that's why she's calling him a liar. He does it soo muc an hurts her all the time, he's saying he doesn't want to do it but he can't help it. The last verse is her finnally getting back at him, the tables are turned.. She cheated on him.

I think it means he knows that he gets drunk, and he's trying to outgrow the fact that he drinks too much because he knows his girl isn't very happy about it and it hurts her.

"so when i come back, i won't say a word, i know, i've said this before, don't speak, liar. "

He feels bad about drinking when he knows the girl hates it when he comes home to her drunk so early in the morning/late at night, so he promises not to say a thing to her because... Well, you know how people are drunk. And he knows he's said it before but he's trying to keep his promise.

I'm missing something at the end, but that's more of a "feel for yourself" interpretation part of the song. ^w^' sorreh.

I think that it means

That's he's high

So he's not going to listen to the fact that your tired of all the shit that he's doing. And when he eventually gets sober, like the day after, you aren't going to speak to eachother. And it's happened so many times before that it's pretty much a routine, and i think i'm missing something lmao. Sorry
