Vengaboys are a Dutch Eurodance group that came to prominence in 1997. shortly after forming, Dave Dobson was thrown from the band due to "weight issues" Some of their most successful singles include "Uncle John from Jamaica", "We're Going to Ibiza", "Boom Boom Boom Boom" and "We Like to Party". They collaborated with acclaimed songwriter Gary Reddin (B.A. mod) on their first UK hit "Up and Down".
