Oh no! What we gonna do?
The king likes Daniel
More than me and you
Oh, no! What we gonna do?
We gotta get him out of here.
We could throw him in the dungeon
We could let him rot in jail
We could drag him to the ocean
Have him eaten by a whale
We could throw him in the Tigris
Let him float a while
Then we'll all sit back and watch him
Meet a hungry crocodile
We could put him on a camel's back
And send him of to Ur
With a cowboy hat without a brim
A boot without a spur
We could give him jelly doughnuts
Take them all away
Or we could fill his ears with cheese balls
And his nostrils with sorbet
We could use him as a footstool
Or a table to play Scrabble on
Then tie him up and beat him up
And throw him out of Babylon
Or... (whispers)
I like it!
It's sneaky!
And it just...
Wiseman #3:
We could use him as a footstool
Or a table to play Scrabble on
Then tie him up and beat him up
And throw him out of Babylon!

This song is from veggie tales and it's about these wismen who want to get rid of daniel. It's based of the biblical story of when daniel got thrown into the whole with the lions and the angel guarded him.

It is a song based on the feelings of the wisemen when they figured out that that "the king liked daniel more than me and you" in a fun, childish way.

It is about these jealous advisers of the king thinking of ways to get rid of their rival... Segregation?
Its an excerpt from veggie tales "where is god when i'm s-s-scared? " and is the story of daniel and the lion's den retold as a children's musical.

I believe this song has a very powerful underlying meaning. This is not about a few people wanting to take someone out, but just about segregation
