They Didn't Have Much And Actually Had To Write Songs To Survive (The Taste Of Ink Comes From The Lack Of Food And The Constant Licking Of The Pen). When Almost There They Start To Question "Is It Worth It?" But Decide To Go On With It Anyways, They've Come This Far "So Here I Am Alive At Last, And I'll Savour Every Moment Of This" The Character Is Probably Telling The Story To Their Love Thoughout The Journey, That Person Is One Of The Few Things That Kept Them Sane.
