I think it's pretty obvious what it's about. How the people in poor countries are in need and that most people chose to look the other way.

[sigh] this song is so sad. My friend made a psa (public service announcement) for abused children and used this song. Everyone in the class was like, 'wow that was so... Deep' like, some people were gonna cry. It was really good.

I think nthat this song is about all the 'forgotten childeren' of this world wether it is 3rd world people suffuring or people of america or england poor people left in the streets suffering

This song is so sad... I am crying... My face is soaked. I love that bill wrote this. He has so much talent- i mean by that that everytime i hear this song, i litterally bawl. My mom saw me after i watched the music video and was like "whats wrong? Did u fall and break something? Is everything ok? " and was like spazzing out. Im just like "no, im fine mom. Watch this. " and now everytime i start to cry, the first thing she asks me is if i've been watching forgotten children on the internet agian.

The main meaning is of how the "forgotten children" are no different then anybody else, yet they shoulder the full weight of life on they're own without a choice. Bill (songwriter) is basically saying not to shun anyone, to give everyone love.

This is a really sad song it meens there are children out there with no food or a place to go in they are like away from there famlly i am crying for them

I believe this song to be about children that are 'givin' up to say. They aren't taken to a place that will care for them, just dumped anywhere, and how they never know who they are, and how no one really cares about them, but how they feel the same as us even though others don't care about them at all. By the way... Tokio hotel, love you guys, and keep writing these wonderful songs ^_^

Forgotten children and vergessene kinder are amazazing songs cuz its nice 2 c tht even bands think about the kids who are left out and are afraid of every1. If i were famous (which i probably never will b, but ya never know) id donate my money and stuff to the shelters around the world 4 both people and animals so they can live a happy life. =)
