Moving Mountains lyrics

This song is based on 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 where Paul is addressing the Christians at Corinth in regards to the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He warns them that even though one could have the gift and power to speak to angels, prophecy, know all mysteries, knowledge, and even to move mountains if they did not have love, they were nothing and their gift or gifts are wasted. Often times we believe, I think, that power or our gifts will be pleasing to us and will fulfill our desires, but without love we will always be disappointed and will fail to reach a deep satisfaction with ourselves and the world around us. Christ's commandment was simply to love one another as yourself. He expected us not only to follow his commandment, but also that we would find love the most empowering gift of all. Great song.

love is the most powerful thing in the world. while many can do anything they want, love is the one thing that is the most complicated to understand. many go along in life thinking as though they have failed the only REAL love that they will ever have only to hope that somday, SOMHOW, that person will be back again for them, forever. but life is not like that and you must move on and find another love that will seem to complete you, but deep down inside you know who you really want to love...i guess i have gone too far into my own personal life, but i guess that just proves that some songs have very deep meaningful lyrics and styles... some will understand what i mean and others will go on wondering what i mean. and the ones who dont understand what i mean either have been very fortunate with the one who REALLY completes them or they have yet to find the FIRST THING ABOUT LOVE...
