This is kinda like with me and silende how we like will play our games and the is a scene where shadow the hedgehog has to rescue his girlfriend silende the hedgehog (note silende is a fan char. And our games can get pretty confuzing! ( anyways he rescues her and the castle is begining to colapse and he and silende have to escape in time!!

This song can have a lot of meanings depending on whom you are and how you feel. Like, even just depending on what mood i'm in it has different meanings.

Wow how the meaning of a song can change a little when you see the actual lyrics... It's self explained as far as i can see.. Go out there an live .. Run 4 your life..

If you do what you are supposed to do, then you won't have to tell lies, and you won't end up doing something you'll regret.

Like when it says "it's hard to imagine
but one day you'll end up like me" it might be talking about like she did something she regrets, and went to jail, or started drugs.

And when it says "if i stay, it won't be long
till i'm burning on the inside"
it could be talking about, if he keeps doing what he's doing now, then he'll metaphorically burn himself from the inside.

And when it says "if i go i can only hope
that i make it to the other side. " it could mean, that even if he decides to change, he isn't in total control anymore, so he could end up making it worse, once again maybe refering to drug addiction of some sort.

Yea, this song could be about religion, i guess, but it fits a lot of other things as well... Like a destructive habit or something. "don't put your life in someone's hands theyre bound to steal it away"... I think ppl who say that are either lying or don't realize what a burden it would be to have someone completely and utterly rely on u, and so they let u down w/out meaning to.
