The Showdown – Dagon Undone (The Reckoning) lyrics
Born of barren womb deliverance burns, burns, in his veins
For told and set apart marked by ascension in flames
Come upon in power to dismember the devourer
To avenge to ignite to destroy the name of Israel's plight

Relentless the attack
Splitter of skulls breaker of backs
In heaps the armies lie
His vengeance quenched one thousand die

No rope may bind me
No man subdues me now
Wave after wave of swords
My weakness yet unfound

Powerless my foes
Bone crushes bone one after one
Limitless my wrath
Now by my reckoning struck down
Pray to Dagon be delivered
Chain me to his temple pillars
God of Israel grant me one last strength
To bring it to the ground

Relentless the attack
Splitter of skulls breaker of backs
In heaps the armies lie
His vengeance quenched one thousand die

No rope may bind me
No man subdues me now
Wave after wave of swords
My weakness yet unfound

Relentless the attack
Splitter of skulls breaker of backs
In heaps the armies lie
His vengeance quenched one thousand die

Betrayed by her whom I love
Bound now and broken
Gouged out my eyes
Hear me oh God

Samson was born to a barren lady (one who could not give birth). An angel said that was to be a Nazirite, exclusive servant of God, and was not to cut his hair. While his hair was long, he was able to defeat entire armies and kill lions with his bare hands.
He married a Philistine (taboo for Israelites) and things started going downhill. He ate honey from a dead lion's stomache, which is forbidden, and asked the Philistines a riddle they couldn't answer. His wife took this offensive and said he hated her. With that, her father gave his daughter to Samson's best man! Samson killed some Philistines and burned their fields. This of course upset the Philistines.
Samson eventually fell in love with Delilah and the Philistines told her to seduce him into telling her where his strength comes from. After multiple failures, she finally dragged it out of him. At night, they cut his hair off and woke him up. Without his hair, he was weak. They gouged out his eyes and tied him to the pillars of the Temple of Dagon.
Samson's last words were "Let me die with the Philistines!" and he used the rest of his strength to break the pillars and destroy the temple.
    Judges 13-16.
