My head is saying "no"
But my heart keeps giving in
So hard to let it go
When it's there, under my skin
.

Well if this is the face of a sinner
And if heaven is only for winners
Well I don't care
Cause I won't know
Anybody there.

Thought that I'd let it slide
But it's me that's slipping in
Thought that I'd go for a ride
Before this crash I'm dying in.

Well if I'm judged on the life I've been living
And if heaven is not so forgiving
Well I don't care
Cause I won't know
Anybody there
.

I don't care
Cause I won't know
Anybody there.

My head is saying "no"
But my heart keeps giving in
So hard to let it go
When it's there, under my skin.

Well if I'm judged on the life I've been living
And if heaven is not so forgiving
Well I don't care
Cause I won't know
Anybody there.

I don't care,
Cause I won't know
Anybody there.

I don't care,
Cause I won't know
Anybody there.

Is there anybody there?
Is there anybody there?
Is there anybody there
?

Well i'm taking it literally... In the 2nd verse he says he thought he'd go for a ride before this crash that he's in. I think he's dying, trying not to as his head is saying no but his heart keeps giving in. If you read the lyrics again with this in mind, they really fit!

    Nobody is perfect

"if" if heaven is not forgiving (saying heaven is forgiving)
If it is not forgiving then nobody will be there but if its is forgiving (which it is) then somebody will be there

Most people judge, or try to live to the law/rules and are quick to judge making it a big deal whether to go to heaven or not which should not be because heaven is forgiving. People are pressured to live a perfect life but should not be, because heaven is forgiving, beyond imperfections. Love love love

1st and 3rd verse: the person tries to forget what he had felt about someone in the past, but the feeling lingers until today. He still loves her, and having difficulties to let it go - it may be caused by the thing called "true love". The more he try to let it slide, the more he trapped into the feeling.

2nd and 4th verse: the person may have someone new right now. Thus, it is morally unacceptable when in fact the person still loves someone from his past. But eventually, he doesn't really mind what people will say, or judge, when they know that he still loves someone else from his past - because he thinks that no one could carry the same condition off either..
