    I think this song is pretty simple. The singer has found a woman who can make him feel normal now. She "tied his string" and made him at least part of the man he wished he was. Before she was there he was probably in a very dark place as shown by "killers are callin on me and feathers are falling on my feet" that second line is also in the song karen after he says "blackbirds are circling my bed" so overall there's a lot of darkness and dread in this man's head and he finally feels some peace in life being with this person. She's his gospel for living life now.
