The Cinematic Orchestra – That Home lyrics

Where the door are moaning all day long
Where the stairs are leaning from dusk 'till dawn

Where the windows are breathing in the light
Where the rooms are a collection of our lives

This is a place where I don't feel alone
This is a place that I call my home

This is a song about losing your loved one but using what has been learned from the long relationship to continue living. The tree represents this relationship as one which has grown like a child. When hes on top of the tree seeing the world he is actually looking into his future and pondering his next move. He knows the wind is eventually going to blow on him because he has lived there for enough time to grow a tree. What he has learned from the relationship is strong love which he uses in the form of a grap on the tree. He knows the secret to life. He can channel this learned power of love to live the remainder of his life with no regret.
