To the person who said that this song is interesting because ted is a hunter... Yea ted may hunt, and yes he may take one when he hunts them but hes a strong advocate on nature and preserving it, and im pretty sure if you opened up his many freezers youd see lots of game meat that wasnt wasted. What hes saying is that if the whiteman regulated hunting back then like they do now, things would be different, we wouldnt have extinct or endangered species. You should read up on ted before making any judgement on him about nature things just because he hunts. Im a meber of trout unlimited and i dont put my fish back, i take my limit and leave it at that for future fishermen like me.

Clydesdales do eat very much. We have recently 2 here in japan. They were bought from the country of new zealand. Very famous here.
They are a very polite horse. Big,very big.
We have trouble saying clydesdale. Very hard to pronounce foe us.
Good wishes to all.

Let's get back on topic here . Did you guys know...
A clydesdale consumes approximately 40 to 50 lbs of hay and 30 gallons of water every day.
Once i was able to watch them get a bath. They seem to like water.

I like this song. But it is interesting he wrote it since he is a hunter. If ted was out hunting and came across some buffalo i'm sure he would probably take some shots with his bow. I mean he would not massacre a herd but he would probably take one. So i guess the song if his take on the white mans greed long ago when there were millions of buffalo.

If you have ever drank bud, you need to chew gum. I don't think ted drinks, so its possible he was just chewing gum as a treat. Gum is much better in japan. They still use chicle. Here in the states its a type of synthetic rubber. Ted does not carry a billfold. It is more of a biker wallet when he does. Most of the time he doesnt even carry one. He also goes commando.

Dirty lucre?
Who has a billfold anymore?
Pardon me while i get my billfold.
I have dirty lucre in my billfold.
A billfold is usually made of leather and has a clip in the middle to secure the bills. So you actually clip the bill then you fold it in half. That is why they call it a billfold.
When was the last time you saw one?
Ted doesn't have a billfold. He has a biker wallet with a chain. I saw it.

This was one of ted's protest songs. He is blaming the white man or "white dogs" for their devastation of the buffalo herds for dirty lucre. He seems to see in the white buffalo a figure of redemption that may extend metaphorically to the indian nation that had existed "hand in hand' with nature before those who couldn't "see past their billfolds. " i assume ted wrote the lyrics to this one, but it seems odd given his more recent uncritical embrace of the same types he criticized in the song.

Kind of like a small white buffalo with a spots.
I see nugent in 1993 with your dam yankeess here in japan. He chew gum all during concert. Very disrepectful.
Why he do that?

Actually, there are over over 200 that they own nationwide. I live just down the street from grant's farm near st louis. They have about
25 of them there ,where they breed them. Once in a while i talk to the guys there. One guy said they stable the others in 5 or 6 places across the country. I'm not much on bud beer. Smells like old cheese.
