Stevie Wonder – The Shadow Of Your Smile lyrics

The shadow of your smile when you are gone
Will color all my dreams and light the dawn
Look into my eyes, my love, and see
All the lovely things you are to me

Our wistful little star was far too high
A teardrop kissed your lips andd so did I
Now when I remember spring
All the joy that love can bring
I will be remembering
The Shadow of your smile

My name is william everett 3rd. On may 31st 2012 at 7: 09pm my thoughts about the shadow of your smile. I sing and write songs. And do background harmonies for myself and who ever let's me. Music to me is what keeps all of us alive. Live, love share, your love of music. I'm not a christian, but iam a spiritual being. I believe we are all here to help and love one another. Yet there are forces that hold us back. Get to know your neighbor, talk directly to people. Show others, that you have love, common sense, and peace in your heart.

In my mind, the writer of this song was with some one he or she loved was expressing a moment that they were sharing. Maybe intimate, but for sure caring. This person was letting the other know that they would always remember the shadow of their smile. Love for some is hard to find. But when found it can blow your mind. All I'm sayin' to all be kind, and love those who love you.

This was a song the late great donice rufus played on the piano and sang to the children of ramblewood elementary. She died in 2011.
She is survived by a 16 year old son - donald (sophomore) and a 21 year old daughter - delisa who is majoring in music education.
Donald attends J. P. Taravella high and is a sophomore as did delisa, his sister graduated in 2008.
I still think the trombone is great for this song.
