This isn't about a girl. It's about god. Obviously. You can't be "rebirthed" through a girl. "breathe for the first time now"
like when christians say "i'm a born again christian. "
that's what it means. Like when someone get baptized. "burried with christ, and rise to walk in the newness of life"

For me this song means a lot, because it basically means you start over, and change who you are; then you start living and enjoying it because you finally broke free... Never be afraid to be what you want to be - it's your life

This song is about a person being stuck in the world with no way out. It's saying that they want out and want to be complete. "i lie here paralytic inside this soul. Screaming for you until my throat is numb" thats saying, the pperson feels trapt in his/her sin, they feel like they cant get out. "screaming for you until my troat is numb" they are crying out to god to comet o the rescue. They can't stand to live in sin any longer. They need to feel again. "i wanna live for you and me" thats saying i give you everything, i wanna live for you, so take me and make me whloe. This is a simple example of a person in need of great repair. And all they are doing is crying out for god to come save them. He is the only way to true happiness. I'm not saying that you're wrong because you guys see it as a guy and girl finding love. But the true message of this song is to show people that there is hope. And that there is love. That there is peace and happiness, true happiness. Through jesus christ.

That is what i think this song is about.

I believe that this song is about him being very misserable until he meets someone who brings him to life (rebirthing) he meets her and the love they share together brings him up in spirits and makes him happy again

I think go with fallen prince i think this song is about love not baptism and how this person wasnt living till he met this girl and she made him live again... I mainly think tht cuz tht basically happened to me till i met my gf

Since they are a christian rock band, i believe that as the others have said. Once you are baptized that you are born again or reborn, cause all your sins are washed away and it is as if you are beginning your life a new.
