Asdfghjkl onew's english! Yay~ anw it's about last christmas and he confessed to the girl he likes but then she rejected him, I guess. This year, however, he has found someone he likes more and better. Gosh, if any of the shinee boys *especially onew* gave me his heart, why would I give it to someone else? If they give me their heart, i'll keep it here, nice and safe. Shinee saranghae! ♥.

This makes me so happy. I love the way they sound when they sing in korean but something about hearing what their voices sound like singing it english is just heart-melting. I was also really impressed (i always am) with how good onew's english pronounciation is omo. Makes me imagine having a conversation with him in my own language. And minho. Your deep voice is just as soothing in another language hehe.
I know exo is getting a christmas album this year, but I hope someday shinee will get their very own christmas album (in korean or in english!) because I would definitely buy it and listen to it all the time!

I'm guessing its about a guy who loved a girl so much. Then last christmas he decided to confess to her or propose maybe? But it turns out that all the times they've went together/ dated, she was only using him and she never really did love him. He was more like the second option then this christmas, he looks back at the previous christmas and makes sure that he wont make the same mistake and look like a fool again, so he'll give it to someone special. It's like a drama really.

This song doesn't make any sense. The phrase "gave you my heart" means to reveal or present your love for someone else. The next lyric is "But the very next day you have it away." How does that person give away that love? If your boyfriend tells you that he loves you, you can't just sell it or give it to another girl like it's a ring or a car. Is his girlfriend a witch or demon that can literally steal his love and give it to someone else? It should be "the very next day, she threw it away." That would make sense. As it is, the only options to consider are, lazy writing, misunderstanding English, or that they think the woman in question is actually capable of enslaving their boyfriend to another person. Ugh. I would have kept it shorter and simpler, but this site values production over content, so I' leaving the "awesome" bar half full.
