the way i see it, its a song about doing what you love to do and doing it regaurdless of what people tell you (the nay sayers)...and not careing about how much money you make or how much you gain as long as you LOVE doing it...like the line "love is not about the profits nor the riches in your dreams"
and the first line "Brushing, touching, feeling on your shoulders, Believing, appealing, kneeling in your worlds,
Oceans are combined" I take it as finding out you love doing it and you keep doing it YOU and the THING YOU LOVE TO DO are "combined"

Two worlds come together, if only for a moment, but a ripped apart due to outside interference. I don't know who will agree with me, but in my opinion is written from the viewpoint of Jesus during his time on Earth. He sees what His father's plan for the world is, but then the outside forces (man and Satan) have to screw it all up. The point of Jesus' life was to help extend the kingdom of Heaven and to provide forgiveness for all sins in the world; and the evil perpetrator is not so much humans, but Satan and his shown presence in our lives, therefore, he must be removed. Jesus then warns the people that time is running short for repentance and must be used for servitude to God. fast-forward to our tie now, and Jesus warns us yet again, time being even closer to ending, and hopes to save us from eternal damnation.

I believe this song is about betrayal of not only a couples love, but a country's love, politics, and the wasting of time. If you've seen the video, the woman and man are greedy for clocks without realizing that it wouldn't change the fact that they're out of time. The man gets an aligator to kill her although he still wears her clothes in regret and disbelief that the woman betrayed him, and eats the gator that eats the woman out, until he once again has the clock.

this song is talking about what love is and how it is so valuble it is and how you have to hold on to it and dont take avantage of it because if you do, like every old person says, you dont really know what you have until you use it!!! have a good day ;) :) ;)
