I must go on standing
You can't break that which isn't yours
I, oh, must go on standing
I'm not my own, it's not my choice

Be afraid of the lame
They'll inherit your legs
Be afraid of the old
They'll inherit your souls
Be afraid of the cold
They'll inherit your blood
Apres moi, le deluge
After me comes the flood

I must go on standing
You can't break that which isn't isn't yours yours
I, oh, must go on standing
I'm not my own, it's not my choice

Be afraid of the lame
They'll inherit your legs
Be afraid of the old
They'll inherit your souls
Be afraid of the cold
They'll inherit your blood
Apres moi, le deluge
After me comes the flood

Be afraid of the lame
They'll inherit your legs
Be afraid of the old
They'll inherit your souls
Be afraid of the cold
They'll inherit your blood
Apres moi, le deluge
After me the flood

Fevrale dostat chernil i plakat,
Pisat O Fevrale navsnryd,
Poka grohochushaya slyakot
Vesnoyu charnoyu gorit.

Fevrale dostat chernil i plakat,
Pisat O Fevrale navsnryd,
Poka grohochushaya slyakot
Vesnoyu charnoyu gorit.

Be afraid of the lame
They'll inherit your legs
Be afraid of the old
They'll inherit your souls
Be afraid of the cold
They'll inherit your blood
Apres moi, le deluge
After me the flood

I must go on standing
You can't break that which isn't yours
I, oh, must go on standing
I'm not my own, it's not my choice

    Transliteration:

    Fevral'. Dostat' chernil i plakat'!
    Pisat' o fevrale navzryd,
    Poka grohochashaya slyakot'
    Vesnoyu chornoyu gorit.

    P.S.

    * The symbol ' means that the consonant before it is pronounced softer. In Russian it looks like this - "ь", and is called "the soft symbol".

    * gro-ho-cha-sha-ya (I noticed people were struggling with this word)

Pronounciation (in modern Russian "o" is frequently pronounced as "a"):

    Fevral'. Dastat' chernil i plakat'.
    Pisat' o fevrale navzryd,
    Paka grahochashaya slyakat'
    Vesnoyu chornoyu gorit.

    Translation:

February. To take the ink and to weep!
To write about February in sobs,
    While the thundering slush
    Is burning with black spring.

    The origin (by Boris Pasternak):

    Феврал&#110 0;. Достать чернил и плакать!
    Писать о феврале навзрыд,
    Пока грохочащ&#10 72;я слякоть
    Весною черною горит.

My first impression is that of a person needing to be themselves-their own person and nothing can stand in the way because it is not their choice but something deeper that which compels them to simply continue to be.

No to suicide. "i lust go on standing"
god is the giver and taker of life. "i can't break that which isn't mine. "
