Can I be dreaming once again?
I'm reaching helpless I descend
You lead me deeper through this maze
I'm not afraid
I'm lost in you
Everywhere I run
Everywhere I turn I'm finding something new
I'm lost in you something I can't fight
I could not escape
I could spend my life lost in you! Lost in you! [ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/r/red/lost.html ]
Your whispers fill these empty halls
I'm searching for you as you call
I'm racing, chasing after you
I need you more
I'm lost in you
Everywhere I run
Everywhere I turn I'm finding something new
I'm lost in you something I can't fight
I could not escape
I could spend my life lost in you!
I could never be the same here
It's something I never could erase
I could never look away
I lost myself in you!
It's all over now!
Lost in you! Everywhere I run
Lost in you! Everywhere I run!
Lost in you!
Lost in you!

Since red is a christian band, it seems the singer is expressing his perspective within his ongoing relationship with jesus.
The singer is 'in' christ and is continually impressed by the glory and complexity of god. That's the significance of the lines "you lead me deeper through this maze" and "everywhere i turn i'm finding something new. "
As the singer draws nearer to god, god draws nearer to him. That's why he says "your whispers fill these empty halls / i'm searching for you as you call / i'm racing, chasing after you / i need you more. "
The relationship is becoming greater and greater as he realizes jesus' infinitely precious worth. He can't escape from the love of god in christ, and he doesn't want to. That's why he says "i'm lost in you / something i can't fight / i could not escape / i could spend my life lost in you! "
So, the singer is not 'lost' in the eternal sense of being condemned, but he is 'lost' in terms of realizing his own smallness compared to the "maze" that is the infinity of god in christ jesus.
