Tomas Forsberg, better known as, "Quorthon" (, 1966, Hägersten, Stockholm – , 2004, Hässelby, Stockholm) was the founder and song writer of the pioneering Swedish black metal band Bathory. He is also credited with creating the Viking metal genre.
