I will never bother you
I will never promise to
I will never follow you
I will never bother you

Never speak a word again
I will crawl away for good

I will move away from here
You won't be afraid of fear

No thought was put into this
Always knew it would come to this

Things have never been so swell
I have never felt this well

Hey!
Pain! (x3)
You know you're right (x3)

I'm so warm and calm inside
I no longer have to hide

Let's talk about someone else
Steaming soup begins to melt)

Nothing really bothers her
She just wants to love herself

I will move away from here
You won't be afraid of fear

No thought was put into this
Always knew it would come to this

Things have never been so swell
I have never felt this well

Hey

Pain! (x6)
You know you're right (x17)

Pain ...

These lyrics were changed (by Courtney) from what Kurt actually wrote. This site has the correct lyrics on another page of this site. Find them and read it and actually listen to the song. It's very clear that he is saying that he had never failed to fail, because that is how Courtney treated him. The "You know you're right" lyrics is acknowledged that Courtney always thought she was right and was a control freak. He doesn't say he will kill himself. He says that he will move away from Seattle and Courtney. He was going to divorce the psycho, but had him killed before he could do it. Also, he is not singing about soup he is saying "Stinging soon begins to melt"
