And if you save yourself you will make him happy
He'll keep you in a jar and you'll think you're happy
He'll give you breathing holes and you'll think you're happy
He'll cover you with grass and you'll think you're happy
Now...

You're in a laundry room
You're in a laundry room
Conclusion came to you
Aaah

And if you cut yourself you will think you're happy
He'll keep you in a jar and you'll make him happy
He'll give you breathing holes then you'll think you're happy
He'll cover you with grass then you'll think you're happy
Now...

You're in a laundry room
You're in a laundry room
Conclusion came to you
Aaah

You're in a laundry room
You're in a laundry room
Conclusion came to you
Aaah

And if you fool yourself you will make him happy
He'll keep you in a jar and you'll think you're happy
He'll give you breathing holes and you'll think you're happy
You'll wallow in your shit then you'll think you're happy
Aaaahh

You're in a laundry room
You're in a laundry room
You're in a laundry room
Conclusion came to you
Aah

The original song of this was called Sad and it had very similar lyrics to the the song but his hook was the same as sappy but his words was different but it was about god trapping him and saving his soul but ever sense he remade the song it sounds like it is about a pet he might of changed it because the studio might of wanted to change it and i know studios did that to nirvana songs before such as the song Stay Away which was changed cause the song was going to be called Pay to play and i was about gambling then it was changed to staying away from stuff so the same thing might of happened to the song Sappy the song Sad was a song that Kurt Cobain wrote in 1988 then he changed it to Sappy in 1989 because he was going to put as a song in his album Bleach but which he didn't do so for some reason it became a rare track.

Possibly about his pet rat a while back that he accidentally killed. Or his turtle(s), but he kept them in a bath tub in the middle of the "house" he lived in. He uses those times to express his isolation, and make a joke of it at the same time.

It could be about animals/pets in general, not necessarily his, but a metaphor for human life/relationships... Could be about women in relationships, not necessarily a man that is abusive, but the typical marriage, a loss of individuality and personal autonomy, power, possible possessiveness and control, i related to it on a ersonal level bc i just got divorced and felt that sense of being trapped by a husband who tried to convince me i was hapy when i wasnt and i was being controlled, not abuse, but definitely control... And teh laundry room could be a metaphor for domestic hell... I can relate...

I feel its my duty to tell some of you that the song is spiritual, duh.
"and if u save yourself, u will make him happy" = baptism
"keep you in a jar. . Breathing holes" = jar is the world which we cannot excape.
Ur in a locked room, not laundry room, u cant get out and u realised this by now, therefore conclusion came to u.. Ahh

this song talks about the typical girl that gets into a posesive relationship with a jerk that manipulates her to the point that she is trated like shit by this guy but she has some sort of psychological attachment with this guy
