    In honor of the Christ child, all were bringing gifts. The little drummer boy was poor and had nothing that equaled the gifts others were giving. So he gave his best, his ability to drum. His drumming caused even the animals to sway to the beat and he gave his "best" performance, even as a baby Jesus smiled, knowing that all you have to do is give your best when you give, no matter the cost as it is not the cost that matters, but from the heart.
