Well they encourage your complete cooperation
Send you roses when they think you need to smile
I can't control myself because I don't know how
And they love me for it honestly I'll be here for a while

So give them blood, blood
Gallons of the stuff
Give them all that they can drink and it will never be enough
So give them blood, blood, blood
Grab a glass because there's going to be a flood.

A celebrated man amongst the gurneys
They can fix me proper with a bit of luck
The doctors and the nurses, they adore me so
But it's really quite alarming cause I'm such an awful fuck (Why thank you! )

I gave you blood, blood
Gallons of the stuff
I gave you all that you can drink and it has never been enough
I gave you blood, blood, blood
I'm the kind of human wreckage that you love!

The meaning of this song is really quite simple. It's about a person who has been in the hospital for a long time. On any long stay in the hospital, they are always taking your blood for tests. etc. You are in there because you are sick and they are always coming in poking you and disturbing your rest.

Well, like Whoawhoa123 said, the story the song is telling is about him giving blood to people who just want it, not that they need it or anything. But that's the metephor they're using, for like paying up to the government and everything. So this is like the unofficial anarchy song to me and my friends.

It's truely amazing what My Chemical Romance can do. I love them.

Well...heahea...its about a guy giving his blood because other people want it. He's not important to them and he knows it, but he gives them blood, blood, gallons of the stuff...

omg this is the best anti-establishment song, no its second to byob (system of a down).
We give the government our children to wars, our money to their fat pockets and our sanity for the ridiculous things they put us through. This song is short but so very work the minute and a half wait.

This song annoyed me the first time I heard it, cause I bought it off iTunes, and there was a minute and a half of silence before the real song started. So I was standing there and then the piano started and I yelled, "It's about time!"
Anyway, I like this song. :P
