Imagine you were at my station
And you brought your motor to me
Your a burner yeah a real motor car
Said you wanna get your order filled
Made me shiver when I put it in
Pumping just won't do ya know luckily for you

Whoever thought you'd be better
At turning a screw than me
I do it for my life
Made my drive shaft crank
Made my pistons bulge
Made my ball bearing melt from the heat
Oh yeah yeah

We were shifting hard when we took off
Put tonight all four on the floor
When we hit top end you know it feels to slow
Said you wanna get your order filled
Made me shiver when I put it in
Pumping just won't do ya know luckily for you

Whoever thought you'd be better
At turning a screw than me
I do it for my life
Made my drive shaft crank
Made my pistons bulge
Made my ball bearing melt from the heat
Oh yeah yeah
Oh!

I'm giving you my room service
And ya know it's more than enough
Oh one more time ya know I'm in love

Whoever thought you'd be better
At turning a screw than me
I do it for my life
Made my drive shaft crank
Made my pistons bulge
Made my ball bearing melt from the heat
Oh yeah yeah!

Imagine you were at my station
And you brought your motor to me
With all four on the floor I feel what's in store

Whoever thought you'd be better
At turning a screw than me
I do it for my life
Made my drive shaft crank
Made my pistons bulge
Made my ball bearing melt from the heat
Oh yeah yeah!

I agree with shrapnel. I'm not sure how i feel about the megadeth version actually. It's a good song, but i don't think it's better. I think that by slowing down a little, you can appreciate each not a little more. That being said, megadeth has a more consistent body of work. They've been the ones to keep with the thrash style the most, while metallica became a rock band for a while, but still put out some great records. I guess it's probably because i grew up with the grunge generation, that i can really appreciate music that's stripped down to it's bare roots, with no frills. That's why i loved st anger. That's why i continue to love alice in chains, and what they're doing. But still two great bands have given their take on the music, and it's up to the rest of us to listen and appreciate that different styles.

You guys both need to do your research. First of all, dave wrote it in his pre-metallica teenage band, panic. Then he brought it to metallica, got kicked out, and both bands played it. Metallica shouldn't have, but it is still a good song. Both songs are really good. So metallica-mike, if you don't like megadeth, you obviously need to get your brain checked. And fastphil, don't be trying to sound smart when you don't know simple megadeth facts.

Mike you need to do some research. This song was originally a metalica song that dave wrote when he was in the band. If you look at the liner notes form kill em all writing credits for the four horsemen say mustane. he wrote this song and took it with him when he was kicked out of metallica
