Afraid to love, something that could break,
Could I move on, if you were torn away?
I'm so close to what I can't control
I can't give you half my heart, and pray it makes you whole

You're gunna have all of me, you're gunna have all of me,
Cuz you're worth every fallen tear, you're worth facing every fear
You're gunna know all my love, even if it's not enough
Enough to mend our broken hearts, giving you all of me is where I'll start.

I won't let sadness steal you from my arms
I won't let pain keep you from my heart
Trade the fear of all that I could lose, for every moment I share with you

You're gunna have all of me, you're gunna have all of me,
Cuz you're worth every fallen tear, you're worth facing any fear
You're gunna know all my love, even if it's not enough
Enough to mend our broken hearts, giving you all of me is where I'll start.

Heaven broke into this moment, it's too wonderful to speak
You're worth all of me, you're worth all of me
So let me recklessly love you, even if I bleed
You're worth all of me, you're worth all of me

You're gunna have all of me, you're gunna have all of me,
Cuz you're worth every fallen tear, you're worth facing any fear
You're gunna know all my love, even if it's not enough
Enough to mend our broken hearts, giving you all of me is where I'll start

You're gunna have all of me,
Cuz you're worth every fallen tear, you're worth facing any fear
You're gunna know all my love, even if it's not enough
Enough to mend our broken hearts, giving you all of me is where I'll start
It's where I'll start

Matthew hammit wrote this song when he found out that his unborn child was going to be born with a heart defect. While I was pregnant with my 2nd child this song touched me on so many levels. When my son was born we too found out that our child had a heart defect, this song helps me through all the rough times reminding me that I will give my son all of me even if it brakes me.

I first heard this song when I was pregnant with my 2nd child. My mother heard it and insisted I listen to it. I'm so glad I did. I had just found out my daughter was going to be born with a birth defect called gastroschis. I've never been so scared in my life. Upon hearing this song, I began to cry. I was so touched and so inspired to try my best to be strong for not one, but both of my children. Thanks to the grace of god, and miracles of science, my beautiful baby girl, although born with the defect and a month early, only spent 3 weeks in the hospital and is currently a happy and healthy 2 month old. I still listen to this song and it still makes me cry, but it reminds me to be strong.

This song has helped me so much. It's so deep and filled with truth. Everyone I hear it, I just feel god talking to me. The first time I heard it, I was like the perfect timing, I was going through something and I wasn't giving god 'all of me'. Plus, I'm a fan of sanctus real so that helped me to love this song. I cherish it very much. Thank for writing this song matt.
