One day we'll say,
(I'm scared one day I'll say)
"I don't love this anymore."
As the sun comes up over the horizon,
And my mind is burning out, like the fake lights beside me.
I look forward to tonight,
A time I'm truly happy.
Is this where I want to lay?
I'm scared this working out?
When my voice is on the way,
Who's to think about?
I'm scared one day I'll say,
"I don't love this anymore,"
Turn my back on all my fans...
Who's to think about?
The brighter I shine, the darker my shadows.
And they pull me behind, as I let off the pedal.
Why should I divide what feels so right?
Is this where I want to lay?
If I turn my back when I close my eyes,
Years from now, all that I'll find,
Is that emptiness burning and burning.
[Outro, Chorus]

IDK, maybe it's not about a relationship, maybe they're singing about their career as a band. "I don't love this anymore...Turn my back on all my fans" maybe, he's saying that he wants to quit music because it's not working out for him and he doesn't want to give up on his fans but he thinks he might have to...

Insecurity about a relationship. As well as confusion. "I don't love this anymore" apparently means that it's just not working. The confusion on my part is the "Turn my back on all my fans..." line. It makes no relevant sense
