Well I thought before it was kept a girl left him, but reading the lyrics, I found out the truth:

It's not a single but there is a video for it with footage of like soilders and war. so im guessing this is a song saying how paterners of soilders are always alone at at valintines day cuase' there pateners are dead or away at war. The lyrics are betufilly done Linkin park do have meaning in there songs and albums ecspically 'Minutes to midnight' that is a powerful album. Linkin park are my fav band besides the fray and kings of leon! :)
I think it is about the Valentines Day massacre, which was ( I think ) started by Al Compone somewhere in the 50's or 40's. Basicly what happend is that he found out one of his friends ( on worker/fellow killer ) died, shot and killed. I can't remember all the exact details or names, so look it up, if you want to.
