Let me take you to the movies. Can I take you to the show
Let me be yours ever truly. Can I make your garden grow

From the houses of the holy, we can watch the white doves go
From the door comes Satan's daughter, and it only goes to show. You know.

There's an angel on my shoulder, In my hand a sword of gold
Let me wander in your garden. And the seeds of love I'll sow. You know.

So the world is spinning faster. Are you dizzy when you're stoned
Let the music be your master. Will you heed the master's call
Oh... Satan and man.

Said there ain't no use in crying. Cause it will only, only drive you mad
Does it hurt to hear them lying? Was this the only world you had? Oh-oh

So let me take you, take you to the movie. Can I take you, baby, to the show.
Why don't you let me be yours ever truly. Can I make your garden grow
You know.

and KANADIANKOPITE WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? The myth in Led Zeppelin songs is occassionally directly about TLOTR... however this is NOT one of those songs.

OKAY JIMMY I CAME HERE AND YOU ARE RIGHT. Those who KNOW cannot be found among the masses as was once the case in even the poorest of homes before the advent of written theology. The WORD became God, and I do believe this may be more about our need for God than God himself.
Even Ramble On is NOT ABOUT TLOTR... sorry...

Satan is not the devil, in pagan thought. For the person who is upset by the reference to Satan, perhaps you will be upset nonetheless, however, Saturn, a planet that due to its unusual timing in it's revolution around the sun seen from Earth rarely makes itself apparent, and when it does, it is just as the days are long.
For the ancients, even for the ancient Hebrews, Satan is considered no more evil or malevolent than any other pagan god, except for its mysterious pattern in what they did not know was a heliocentric sky...
Sorry, but Satan's daughter is one of the moons of that planet and nothing more...
This is benign... and for the record holapaco? I believe you should be allowed to marry anyone who you truly love and is not too close in relationship by family as it promotes the worst of genetic characteristics expressing themselves such as hemophilia.
Proof that Robert Plant did not write these songs for the most part being the end result of insistance this is somehow evil is the finest result possible, as there is no direct reference to who wrote the words, it has simply been asserted by worshippers of the man with rolled up tube socks in his jeans most of the time.

this is about TLOR. Sam and his temptation of the ring and Galadriel seeing if his virtue was true. the ring tries to tempt Sam by giving him visions of Mordor changed from a volcanic desert into a forest the elves would revere. Take you to a movie is simply the visions of Galadriel and Sam.

If Satan's daughter can marry, then so should I. One does not consent to be unmarried yet is unmarried before the holy house.
