Look down on the body that you have grown,
Four mountain stand around you they're not your own.
And light squares and bodies are all you see...
Since you broke down
Since I broke down
Since we broke down

So I jumped into my grave and died,
And on your word I gave up your whole life for you,
And I was reborn bigger and stronger and less alive...
I... I...

Cross your fingers hold your toes, we're all gonna die when the building blows,
Cross your fingers hold your toes, we're all gonna die when the building blows,
And the house that you were born in is crumbling at the corner,
Sagging skin and feet of crows, feet of crows.

Oh you'll jump into your grave and die
And on my words you'll give up you whole life for me
And you'll be reborn big and stronger and less alive...
I... I...

This song is about old couple, after all the experiences and life you've lived this old couple is looking back at it. And after living life they're more alive. This song is subverting the actual meaning of crossing your finger, cause here they're close to death -- which is not wishing for luck. However, it can also mean cross your fingers we die!
