Sometimes I
I just want to close my eyes
And act like everyone's all right
When no, they're not
This world needs God
But it's easier to just stand and watch
I could say a prayer and just move on
Like nothing's wrong
But I refuse

Cause I don't want to live like I don't care
I don't want to say another empty prayer
Oh I refuse to
Sit around and wait for someone else
To do what God has called me to do myself
Oh I could choose
Not to move
But I refuse

I can hear the least of these
Crying out so desperately
And I know we are the hands and feet
Of You, O God
So if you say move
It's time for me to follow through
And do what I was made to do
And show them who you are

Cause I don't want to live like I don't care
I don't want to say another empty prayer
Oh I refuse to
Sit around and wait for someone else
To do what God has called me to do myself
Oh I could choose
Not to move
But I refuse

To stand and watch
The weary and lost
Cry out for Him
I refuse
To turn my back
And try and act like all is well
I refuse
To stay unchanged
To wait another day
To doubt myself
I refuse
To make one more excuse

Cause I don't want to live like I don't care
I don't want to say another empty prayer
Oh I refuse to
Sit around and wait for someone else
To do what God has called me to do myself
Oh I could choose
Not to move
But I refuse

I refuse
I refuse
Yeah

To me it means that god calls you to help the people he loves which is everyone and you may not feel like doing something you may feel like you will get made fun of but for me personaly i refuse to make an excuse or wait for someone to do it for me because they will not do it god didnt call them to do the same thing as me he called me to do this

I think we are all called to this, and remarkably it's not just a call to minister to the lost, but to one another. The church as a whole has suffered greatly in these latter years, failing to rightly interpret who and how we are to be not only to the lost, but to one another. Many of us are sick and wounded, we have lost perspective. Being righteous doesn't mean being perfect, we hurt and we fail daily and without the support and encouragement from a community of fellow believers, we only fall further into our despair, and deeper into errant beliefs, corrupting our identity in christ. Simply, we are our brothers keeper.

Hello, god speaking loud and clear. He gave me something to do and i need figure out how accomplish his assignment, do it, give him the glory and not worry about what others are going to say. I have to answer to god not people in my church or family or circle of acquaintances.

Get out, and do what god is telling you to do, yourself, and don't wait for someone else to come along, and change what you can already do yourself. Refuse, to make excuses for not doing it, and to change your actions for what is right.
