This song is about a girl who is neglected by others. Everybody knows who she is, but nobody wants to talk to her. She hopes and prays that the day will come when somebody finally sees the true potential she has. That potential could possibly be enough to land her on top of the charts, or the lead role in that must-see movie that will come in the future. By that time, though, it'll be too late.

This song reminds me so much of this girl back in the 4th grade. Everyone hated her. They'd come up to her and tell her she's ugly or fat or dumb right to her face. I sadly was a small part of it. I cant help but wonder what she thought to herself. It was so sad. She was a very lovely girl, too.

It's not about the family fun cartoon that everybody knows. It's about that person being the underdog, who everyone doesn't expect to one day do something great, but then they end up doing just that.
