They say everything can be replaced
Yet every distance is not near
So I remember every face
Of every man who put me here

I see my light come shinin'
From the West unto the East
Any day now, any day now
I shall be released

They say every man needs protection
They say every man must fall
I swear I see my reflection
Somewhere so high above this wall

I see my light come shinin'
From the West unto the East
Any day now, any day now
I shall be released

Now, yonder stands with me in this lonely crowd
A man who swears he's not to blame
All day long I hear him shout so loud
Cryin' out that he was framed

I see my light come shinin', yeah
From the West unto the East
Any day now, any day now
I shall be released

Well, I say
Any day now, any day now
I shall be, I shall be released, hmm

I dont know but it is beautiful song! It's the lonleiness of man who is behind a wall either physical or an emotional wall he has built because of the pain he feel. But sees the light at the end of the tunnel and things will get better.

Den west says welcome to heaven. This is what you can expect to see. Everything from the light to the people around him as he lays dying.
