I think it's about a lost lover who loved space, and their love crumbled, and he's saying that he'll never forget her, and he's putting their love in the place she loved most. So she'll hopefully see it again and remember all the past they had. Then he wants to see her again, one last time, and hear her voice again, which is impossible.

(I'm from Germany) they translated it into German like this: He loves someone, but he/she don't feel the same. So He let her/him go. He remembers the good times they've had, but finally accepted that he never gets the same feeling from his love so he gave up his hopes and dreams -> he buried his love

As someone pointed out on the YouTube video, Moondust is a strong drug. So I make this out to be him drowning out his sorrow and sadness through being in a high. This makes sense, because Jaymes says how he still makes the choice to “bury my love, in the Moondust”. If you think otherwise, then let me know what you think. Also, I found this song based off of a Minecraft parody :)
