I Set My Friends On Fire – Things That Rhyme With Orange lyrics

I'm so iconoclastic; I'm clastic!
I only want you to think I'm fantastic.
I'll participate in what you believe,
If you give me the attention!
Yeah, yeah that's the only compensation
I wanna be included in your conversation.

So am I "in" or am I "out"
What is there to think about! ?
What is that paint brush for?
Are you preparing to draw me?
No wait, please don't! I am scared,
Of what I'll see...
I'm not a perfect picture portrait,
But I am working on it!
I've been thinking about being cool,
I must have to admit!

Blame it on the corporate skyscrapers in the clouds,
But if wasn't for you,
We wouldn't have all these multiple crowds.
How am I suppose to choose, which one I belong to?

I think I'll perpetuate a pre-existing runway,
I guess it's almost as cool as creating a fresh
New elaboration yourself.

It's a marker! It's a sign!
It's something we define!
It already exists, but you helped refine!
An emblem for all your aesthetic kin,
To recognize you by!

Blame it on the corporate skyscrapers in the clouds,
But if wasn't for you,
We wouldn't have all these multiple crowds.
How am I suppose to choose, which one I belong to?

Obscenity is a crutch for traffic drives.
If you need to use the restroom just ask politely.
I like the way I do it, better then the way you're not.
Lifting up the toilet seat was the way I was taught.

It has to be a unanimous determination.
Because one opinion would be a pointless appreciation.

Yeah, sure thanks for the invitation!
Don't want to be included in your conversation...
It's too late!
We've over thrown, I took all your friends,
And you're all alone.

Blame it on the corporate skyscrapers in the clouds,
But if wasn't for you,
We wouldn't have all these multiple crowds.
How am I suppose to choose, which one I belong to?

Ok I think this song is about being labeled or stereotyped, and he's sort of afraid of what stereotype he'll be put into, or what he'll be labeled. (are you preparing to draw me? No wait, please don't. I'm am scared of what ill see) He just wants to fit in. (i only want you to think I'm fantastic)(i wanna be included in you conversation) Now he does not what commercialized things (blame it on the coporate skyscrapers.) are creating him. He doesn't know what stereotype he'll fit into either (how am I supposed to choose which one I belong to) and just wants to be himself. Hes saying whatever label he gets will be his reputation (its a marker, its a sign, it's something we define. You helped refine.
An emblem for all your aesthetic kin, to recognize you by).
Pretty much he knows he's going to be labeled, but doesn't know where he fits in and is honestly afraid he'll be a freak or something.

Things that ryme with orange is the title because in the video the girl fell in love with a guy who is a social misfit and the only one to stand up for him is an orange monster.
He is pissed because he thought his only friend was doing his girl but turns out it was a party.
Its a in and out friendship. The orange monster is told off and then loved that's why the lyrics change so much.

I agree withxxx carcar she pretty much told the whole song in one paragragh. And who cares if he doesn't know what the words mean its an awsome song and this is a awsome band. Its obviouse that he is scared of what group he is gonna be labled to and its obviouse that somebody is making it hard for him to be regognised as "cool" and not a freak.

Its talking about major fashion industries and clicks (idk how to spell that). Its the story of someone torn between two groups of people seperated by their clothing or how they think. "Blame it on the corporate skyscrapers in the clouds,.
    But if wasn't for you,.
We wouldn't have all these multiple crowds.
How am I suppose to choose, which one I belong to? " "I've been thinking about being cool, "

I think this song is about the music scene, and music industry. Are we a pop group? Hardcore group? Ect, ect. And then choosing the crowd to go with, do we go with victory recs, do we choose to go indie? Or do we choose epitaph? Or one of the other corporate skyscrapers? And they admit that without those skyscrapers they may not have the big hype they did.
    Just my two cents.
