You can't beat me.
You can't beat the demons, I insist.
I'll come to take you away.
To a better place where you can rest.
I won't stay forever.
Just 'til the end of time.
I won't make it better.
I'll be there 'til you die.
There's no end for your pain.
Just as long as you fight it.
It is all just a game.
To see how long you can take it.
I won't stay forever.
Just 'til the end of time.
I won't make it better.
I'll be there 'til you die.
Gotta wait 'til the end.
Be the reaper's hand.
Gotta wait 'til the end.
Be the reaper's hand.

Yeah!!!

I won't stay forever.
Just 'til the end of time.
I won't make it better.
I'll be there 'til you die.
Gotta wait 'til the end.
Be the reaper's hand.
Gotta wait 'til the end.
Be the reaper's hand.
Gotta wait 'til the end.
Be the reaper's hand.
Gotta wait 'til the end.
Be the reaper's hand.

Tatgren is obviously referring to a person (either in his actual life, or fictional). So he's addressing this song as a lamentation filled with both hope and tremendous sorrow to a loved person - rather than a rant about his own life, and his own problems.
    Which in itself is interesting.

He is referring to that person as someone who's going through great hardship - perhaps a physical condition ("i'll be there til you die"), but also likely of a mental nature, some kind of psychological trauma.

There's great transgression in taking some mundane, common situation of human grief and suffering - merely one individual in fact - and subliming it into such a powerful, heartfelt piece of music; and then making such strong, thought-provoking and compassionate poetry.

He's stretching this ordinary, common situation into something of metaphysical proportions, with clearly the lexical field of eternity ("the end"; "stay forever"; "til the end of time"... )

Tatgren also includes and personifies death as an actual presence in the song - "the reaper's hand"; as to almost make this short piece of poetry into a mini-myth, or a tale.

I'm sure personally he's depicting a very loved member of his family passing away gradually.
