many things to say I could Fit
'em in a book fit, 'em in a book of a thousand pages yeah, So
many people say that I Couldn't
tell a lie couldn't, tell a lie in a thousand ages Baby

you're wrong Baby

da da da da da da I
can't find the time to tell you Ba
da da da da da da I
can't find the time to tell you I

look at your pretty face and I Fall
in love with you fall, in love with you every time I see you there Nightgowns
of regal lace that are Flowin'
to the ground flowin', to the ground in a mist around you Baby

you're wrong Baby

you're wrong Ba

da da da da da da I
can't find the time to tell you Ba
da da da da da da I
can't find the time to tell you Ba
da da da da da da I
can't find the time to tell you Find
the time to tell you Find
the time to tell you Ba
da da da da da da I
can't find the time to tell you

Aside from some of the lyrics listed being wrong, I. E. Its baby your wrong and not maybe your wrong. But essentially the song is about a guy trying to convince his girlfriend that he is in love with her and she is not sure if it is true or not because they are so young, actually just 16 at the time. He tells her how much he loves her everytime he sees her and the reference to the nightgown of regal lace was a vision in his head of what she would wear on their wedding night. The story was related between friends and from the story the came the lyrics --- its A true story from back in 1966.
