Im not sure what this song is about but...

I think it might be about how a boy is dealing with a break up.

i think that is him saying he wishes he could be a major part in her life again.

this could be him saying that she shouldn't look at the minor details of him. She should keep "raining" her love on him because even though he isn't rich she makes life worth living.

he doesn't know why he's losing interest in everything apart from her. He doesn't know wy she's always angry at him because he's always depressed at losing her.

he describes how his emotions are making him feel insignificant and they're more prominent negative feelings than he's ever felt before. He tells himself to stay cool.

he damn's her eyes for seeing someone better than him. He damn's her mind for being uncontrolled and wrong.

he is asking her why she's trying to delete him from her life.

he explains how the world is waiting for her to wake up and see her mistake in leaving him.

this is her response to his question. She doesn't know why she has been so keen to move on.
