Alla Fine lyrics

I worked out a translation of this song to make some sense out of it and because of the strong imagery in the parts that i could pick up easily. I'm not sure about a few parts of this so perhaps someone can improve on it. I get the idea that there is a story here that is not actually in the text, but i don't know what it is. With the opening lines one can imagine italy winking out, leaving only a noisy kiss echoing in the darkness, but that does not seem to be the idea here. Please feel free to make corrections.
